Christina Hall Claims Ex Josh Hall Diverted More Than $35,000 Amid Ongoing Divorce

Christina Hall doesn't mind flipping the casting of her new show.

In fact, the HGTV host had a surprising response to a suggestion of replacing estranged husband Josh Hall with ex Ant Anstead—who she was married to from 2018 and 2021—on her upcoming renovation competition, The Flip Off.

"How awesome would it be to have Ant replace Josh on the flip off?" a fan wrote on Instagram. "Ratings would go through the roof."

Christina agreed, writing back in a comment, "LOL that would be a genius 'ratings' idea just sayin."

And Ant—with whom Christina shares 4-year-old son Hudson—wouldn't be her only ex if he were to join the series. After all, her first husband Tarek El Moussa—with whom she shares kids Taylor, 13, and Brayden, 8—is on the show along with his wife Heather Rae El Moussa.

The El Moussas, who are parents to 18-month-old son Tristan, recently confirmed that The Flip Off will move on without Josh after he filed for divorce from Christina to end their two-year marriage.

However, as Heather noted to E! News, the show will now just be "us against her."

"But we support her," the Selling Sunset star said, jokingly adding that it's possible she and Christina could team up and face off against Tarek in an episode. "We do like to gang up on him."

As Tarek quipped, "At some point, it'll be the girls against me."

But while Christina and Tarek have developed a friendly bond in recent years, her co-parenting relationship with Ant, who has been dating Renée Zellweger since 2021, has faced some difficulties.

Back in 2022, Ant filed for emergency full custody of their son Hudson, alleging that the Flip or Flop alum "exploited" the child by including him in paid social media promotions—a claim Christina refuted. His request was denied by the court and Christina later issued a statement saying that she will no longer feature Hudson on her shows and social media platforms "until he is old enough to make this decision for himself."

"Hudson's father has made attempts to turn my family, friends and fans against me through manipulation tactics and false information," she wrote in an October 2022 Instagram post. "This has had great impact on me and my household."

Since then, Ant has remained quiet about where he stands with his ex-wife, while Christina called their legal saga an "extremely unnecessary custody battle."

"I know I’ve made mistakes but I know what I’ve done right," she wrote in a May 2023 post marking Mother's Day. "I know with all my heart my kids love me… and I know I’m a good mom…. life is crazy but being a mama makes it all worth it."
